24HR ROAD TRIP

The 24 Hour Roadtrip is a variation on the traditional “Great American Roadtrip,” but takes place solely in one city at a time. Instead of a car on the open highway, the trip is made on foot and by using public transportation—an exploration of the city under the stress of sleep deprivation and fatigue, enlivened by chance discovery, music, food and drink, games and pranks, and a traveling analysis of the urban environment. Participants are free to join in and drop out as they wish, though many travel with the group for the full 24 hours.
